Engage your head and win a price of your choice - the 2nd volume of the photo/video contest.
SINGING ROCK is climbing and its symbol is an arrow. An arrow is in the rocks and the mountains. An arrow is a companion on the road. In the town and in the countryside. Engage your imagination, render the SINGING ROCK logo in an original way and capture your idea by a photo or a video footage. What matters is not completely the photographic or directing skills or equipment, but mainly your idea and originality...
The subject of the competition:
A photograph or video footage depicting the SINGING ROCK logo in an original way.
Conditions of the competition:
The photographs or video footage must contain the SINGING ROCK logo and must represent SINGING ROCK in a decent and imaginative way. The announcer reserves the right to exclude from the competition proposals it deems inappropriate.
Size, format and a description of the photo:
With each photo/video, please send a short presentation of the photo/video (where and when taken, what or who is in the photo/video, etc.), the name of the photo/video, and the name of the author.
Photo: we accept photos for the competition in electronic form in formats JPG, GIF, BMP and RAW, and the shorter side of the photo must have min. 1800 px.
Video: send videos for the competition in formats AVI, WMV, MP4 and MOV. The length and processing
of videos is not restricted.
Please send your photos/videos to soutez@singingrock.cz. In the case of a file of a size greater than
9 MB, send your photos/videos through a data storage (Uschovna.cz, Wetransfer, Dropbox, etc.) or on a data medium (CD, DVD) with an accompanying letter to the following address:

The duration of the competition:
You can send pictures/videos for the competition from 1st February 2014 until 15th May 2014.
All the photos and videos will be gradually published on the website and on our facebook profile.

The use of photos and videos:
All participants of SINGING ROCK’s competition “Engage your head” agree with a permanent nonexclusive use of submitted photos/videos for marketing purposes of the company Singing Rock s.r.o. and with the publication of personal data on the Singing Rock’s website and Facebook profile. A photo/video used will always indicate the name or a link to the page of the author of the photo/video. Contact and personal information will not be further used or transferred to a third party.
Assessment of the fulfilment of the conditions of competition and award of prizes:
A narrow selection of SINGING ROCK staff will examine the competition entries, will determine the winner and will determine the entries on the second and third place. The evaluation criterion will be the originality of the idea and the quality of the photo/video. The winner of the competition will win a product of Singing Rock of their choice worth CZK 4000, the 2nd place award winner a prize with CZK 2000 and the 3rd place CZK 1000. The committee may decide that none of the entries has not complied with the conditions of competition.
