Lucie Hrozová and Mirek Matějec, Pray for Power M13(+)

105342At the end of February 2014 SINGIN ROCK climbers Lucie Hrozová and Mirek Matějec made the first repeats of a five years old route Pray for Power M13(+) in Starzlachklamm gorge, Germany.

This presently most difficult drytool line in Germany was made by a young up-and-coming climber Michi Wohlleben in 2009. That time he classified it as M13, because as 18-years-old he didn't have much experience and there were no any more difficult routes than that grade. Since the Michi’s first ascent the route had resisted bravely and waited for a repeat for five long years.

The time came. At the end of February 2014 Starzlachklamm gorge was visited by Lucie and Mirek. Lucie arranged the first repeat as well the first women's ascent. Mirek (after unsuccessful tries from last year) can notch up the second repeat. Both of them were panting and falling but at last they succeeded. Lucie said that it had been one of the most difficult lines so far. Perhaps the route could be marked as M14...

Big gratulation!
