35th International Mountaineering Film Festival in Teplice nad Metují
Another year has passed and again at the end of August comes the International Mountaineering Film Festivalin Teplice nad Metují, Czechia. This year the event takes place on 23th - 26th August 2018.
In addition to films which you can watch in the cinema and school, there will be a rich accompanying programme in the park and the main square, concerts, contest of the Czech Boulder Cup, competitions and more (IMFF programme).
As usual, SINGING ROCK has prepared fun activities and a few competitions. Besides the last contest of the Czech Speedline Cup you can again look forward to the competitions CRACK, DRYTOOL and TEAM BOULDER. Our bouldering wall, crack simulator and training drytool board are waiting for you. Come to fight for valuable prizes from our production.
The Festival is also the ideal chance to buy climbing equipment cheaply. The SINGING ROCK Outlet stand with climbing stuff for very attractive festival prices will be there, in the main square ;-)

(Parents are responsible for their small climbers.)
On Sunday at 12:00 come and take part in our TEAM BOULDER competition, bouldering relay of three-member teams. Each member of a team traverses along our bouldering structure using specified holds. The fastests teams win SINGING ROCK climbing gear ;-)
SINGING ROCK DRYTOOL BOARD
For strong guys and girls we have prepared our 3.2 m long training drytool board.
On Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 you can win interesting prizes in our competition on it. Rules are simple, we count how many times you make it forth and back on the board using ice axes. Time limit is 1.30 min. Come to try your strength. Best men and women will be rewarded with SINGING ROCK equipment.
SINGING ROCK CRACK
Crack climbing is the part of sandstone climbing and SINGING ROCK has probably created one of the world’s first mobile simulators of crack climbing with an adjustable crack width.
On Friday from 14:00 to 15:30 there is the CRACK competition for valuable prizes. Climbing in climbing shoes and gloves. Belaying by TR. The fastest time is measured. The fastest 4 men and 4 women get to the final duels. Besides, you can try the crack climbing simulator situated in the park (next to the football pitch) from Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00. Top Rope belaying, harnesses and crack gloves can be borrowed.
SINGING ROCK SPEED SLACKLINE
Speed and style. Years of sacrifice and hard work. Exhibition and the best tricks. Visit the slackline zone in the park ;-)
On Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 there is the SINGING ROCK SPEEDLINE competition (part of the Czech Speedline Cup). It will be organized in a standard manner: qualification with time measured and then play-off grid leading to the final. There will be also valuable prizes from SINGING ROCK. The slacklines will be freely available for walking, sitting, jumping, etc. from Thursday till Sunday. Organized and prepared by slack.cz
