Martin Stráník, Bugeleisen 8B+

124352SINGING ROCK athlete Martin Stráník finished successfully this year's competitive season (he won Czech Cup as well as Czech Championship in Bouldering) and got back to outdoor boulders.

At the begining of October Martin repeated Bugeleisen 8B+ in Maltal, Austria. On his blog, Martin described the climb as follows:

"Bugeleisen is a super cool line with a 45° overhang, small but good ledges - no brainer, really, one just needs to be strong enough. My plan is to redo the moves and leave the serious attempts for the morning but the moves keep me only five minutes or so, so I start trying. I fall twice from the edge and once from someplace lower so I decide to save my fingers and energy for the morning.
The next day I wake up with the sun, it's pretty cold. I warm up with the upper part of the line, then I practice the beginning and as I have the first two moves already, I just keep climbing, struggle with the small ledges, then comes the edge and suddenly it's done. I didn't expect this! Great, this line is awesome and I am really happy about the climb."

We are also happy, congratulations!
